** The wellbeing of birthing families and the community is our priority.  We have been closely following the impact that coronavirus (COVID-19) has had on maternal healthcare systems and expectant families, and the lack of access to essential supports such as doula services and family during childbirth and in the postpartum period.  The Black Women Birthing Justice Collective stands in solitude with all birthing people and the birthworkers who serve them.  The goal to #LiberateBlackBirth and the truth that #BlackMamasMatter stands true now more than ever.
