SeLah Oya:El Wehner

I have had ten pregnancies, eight came through but seven children remain. I am very passionate about mindfulness with and in maternal health care. I provide holistic support to Indigenous Families, People of Color, but hold a special place in my heart for Black or African descent families. My goal is to help advocate and support women in their journey to Motherhood with an intent to focus on their holistic health from birth, postpartum and into parenting. I help Mothers with the tools, skills and support they need to truly enjoy their lives as Mothers. I also aid in pregnancy loss. Working with me, you get conscious care and with that care I remind you, that you are divine and majestic from conception, you just need a reminder!

I’m a Doula, a Mother and Alumni of the BeLoved Birth Black Centering Program. As a former member of BeLoved, I know first hand the positive impact community can have on pregnancy. My goal as a Doula is to embody community, and facilitate a nurturing and well informed space, where birthing people can feel empowered to make knowledgeable choices throughout their journey. As your prenatal, postpartum and labor and delivery Doula, I am dedicated to provide A! service and enhance the support you’ll receive throughout your pregnancy. My strategy is to put you first! Staying true to flexibility and accessibility, I customize my plan to match your capacity and needs.

I am from the Bay Area and have had the honor of completing studies in the areas of Psychology + Social Sciences. While being in service to the birthing communitiy for over 13 years, I have had the opportunity to incorporate Intuitive Guidance, intentional support, education and healing during pregnancy, labor and thereafter.

My approach is wholistic in the areas of wellnes. I invite daily wellness rituals, while being in support of you.

I enjoy baths, connecting with nature, studying, adventuring around the world, connecting with beloved family and friends, and I practice intentional Self exploration. I am deeply committed to my personal healing work, offering intentional support and experience for those journeyng the path of remebrance and returning home to themselves.

You will likely find these elements woven into the fabric of my work.
